2 days and counting...

Hi! Thanks for all the lovely comments on my last post. You guys are the greatest. And thanks for reading my blog. I've said this before and I still say I wonder why anyone wants to read what I have to say. But I love the blog world because I love you guys...and I'm oh so thankful that you come here!

I can't believe this weekend is finally here. In less than two days hubby and I will be running our little hearts out. This past week of tapering has started to mess with my head! I know it's the right thing to do for my body, but it's so hard to feel "out of the running mode" and still be raring to go come Sunday at 5:30 a.m. How is this going to work people???

Also, the weather forecast is not looking good. Oh, no. Predictions for Sunday include rain, hail, strong winds, chance of tornado, etc etc. I'm just praying that all of that will hold off until late in the day. Please please please don't storm on Sunday morning. Rain - I can handle you alright, but heavier storms could mean cancellation..and that would just be rain on my parade (pun fully intended).

Despite all of these concerns, I'm so excited to accomplish this goal finally! It feels as if we've been working toward it for ages and ages. I don't care how much pain it takes...we will finish. That's what I can't wait for! Thanks for all of your support throughout our training process. Your encouragement and kind words have been such a blessing!

I'm not sure if I'll post tomorrow. Little H has his 1st birthday party in the morning. Then, J and I are headed to the city. My sweet in-laws got us a hotel room for Saturday night so we don't have to drive an hour Sunday morning before the race. I'm so thankful for that. I'll definitely post an update on Monday, and let you all know how it went! Here's to the big 26.2!

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
