the end of an era

Today marks the end of another phase of life for me. It's my last day of being a nanny to this little guy

I'm sad to not be able to see him everyday anymore, but I'm also excited about what's ahead. My life has been so weird thus far because every year I've done something different. The first year J and I were married I was finishing my last year of school and student teaching. The following year we were in Thailand. This past year I was a nanny. Now I'll start teaching. No worries, I plan on sticking with that for awhile.

I stepped out of the shower this morning to find this on the bathroom counter


J made me a green monster and a sweet little card to commemorate my last day of work. How amazing is he? I'm the luckiest girl in the world. At least I think so.
