excitement is brewing!

I'm getting so excited! For months J and I have been obsessed with looking for houses, even though we knew we couldn't buy yet because we're stuck in a lease. Then, if you remember this post, you know that we started having doubts about whether we should buy right now at all.

After much deliberation, we've officially decided to go ahead and buy! We've decided that we're going to look for an older house that we can update over the next year or so. It'll be easier on the budget and should promise a bigger profit when we decide to sell in several years. I'm so excited! We have a few picked out that we really like, but we haven't seen the inside of them yet.

We're currently in the pre-qualification process, and we have our first appointment with our realtor tomorrow! I can't wait to no longer be living apartment life.

And little Olive can't wait to have her very own yard to run around in:)

Happy Friday to everyone!

Aww! How adorable is Olive! I've always wanted a Yorkie (who I would name Florence, haha!), but for some reason I don't think Poppy, my cat, would be terribly impressed!

Very exciting! I'm sure Olive will love her yard. That is one of the criteria as we search for houses for our move in Oct - will our pug Macy like the yard? Ha, ha!
