I don't have much time today either, but I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Valentine's Day! J planned to surprise me with plans this weekend, but since neither of us are very good at keeping secrets, he ended up telling me the day before yesterday! I love having Valentine's Day as the perfect excuse to splurge a little on a romantic getaway with my favorite person. He booked us a hotel room/couple's massage package for tomorrow, and he's taking me to Cheesecake Factory! We haven't done anything like this since we came home from Thailand. I'm so looking forward to getting away, just the two of us. It's like a dream:) Oh, how I love my husband.
BUT, before the fun can begin we have to put in a 13 miler tomorrow morning. This will be the longest we've run since our half marathon last July. I'm a little nervous, but with all the festivities (especially the massage) to look forward to tomorrow afternoon and evening I think I could get through the full marathon! Okay, maybe not. But, I do think it will help my mental state during those last 3 long ones.
This girl isn't quite as excited about Valentine's Day as her parents are. She is spending her first night away from mom and dad at Doggie Day Care. We'll go on a special outing to Petco when we get back to make it up to her.

Ha, similar to my story, too in that my husband couldn't keep a secret either and our dogs are also staying somewhere they've been been before for the night. And I agree ... it's like a dream : )

and that was a heart shaped muffin tin that I received as a wedding gift. it's the only muffin tin i own! haahaha but it's made by Wilton, so they probably have it a target!
