I was tagged on facebook to list 25 random things about myself. I usually ignore those kinds of things on facebook, but it was my friend, Grace, who tagged me and I just can't ignore her! So, I thought I'd just post them here while I was it!
25 random things about me
1. I had never flown on a plane until my sophomore year of college…but I’ve logged plenty of hours since then!
2. I love for things to be super clean. I always do things a certain way to ensure the ultimate cleanliness level possible. Example: J makes fun of me because I have to always wash my hair before my body in the shower. Otherwise the dirty water from my hair will get on my body when I rinse. Then I would just have to wash my body again!
3. J and I had our first kiss the night we got engaged. We dated for 2 ½ years. We didn’t french kiss until we were married.
4. My middle two toes on my left foot are stuck together.
5. I am obsessed with items that have birds on them (blogs☺, shirts, jewelry, décor etc)
6. I knew I was going to marry J for a year before he decided he even wanted to date me.
7. I was class president all four years of high school, but now I totally regret it because I am dreading planning the reunion. I’m not very good at planning events. Why didn't I think of that then?
8. I played basketball for 13 years of my life.
9. I lived in Thailand for one year.
10. I definitely want to have children in the future, but I’m as far away from wanting them right now as I’ve ever been. I think something’s wrong with me.
11. I love vintage style
12. One of my favorite vacation spots is in Vietnam.
13. I love to change my hairstyle. Every time I go get my hair cut, I do something completely different.
14. I am obsessed with apples. Fuji specifically.
15. I used to work at a candy store
16. I’m a vegetarian
17. I hate to sleep apart from J. We’ve only done it twice: once for work and once in a village in Thailand. Number 3 is coming up in March – boo!
18. There are certain words that I refuse to say such as “stinky.” It hurts to even type it! J loves to play this up and make fun of me.
19. I have never tried beer, and I’ve never been drunk.
20. My favorite food is cereal.
21. I have a very bad habit of chewing on my lip. J absolutely hates it, but I can’t stop.
22. I hate fans. The exception to this being in Thailand where we didn’t have a/c and it was extremely hot. Otherwise, I hate them. I just don’t like having air blown on me.
23. I aim to get as little exposure to the sun as possible (beyond a healthy dose of Vitamin D of course). I’m a firm believer in the damage that the sun does to our skin, so I always try to cover up and/or wear sunscreen if I’m going to be out in it for long.
24. I got my nose pierced the last night we were in Thailand, and I took it out 4 days later on our last night in Tokyo. Loved it…but not worth the grief I’d get from the fam when I arrived back home.
25. I shave my legs ever single day, even in the winter. I hate the way they feel when they haven’t been shaved for even a day.
In other news...I received a comment a few posts back about my new blog look. I completely forgot to address it once I got it up and running. It's still not my dream blog necessarily, but it's worlds better than the old "brand new sidewalk." I'm so grateful to my wonderful husband who helped me change it. I'm not good at stuff like this, so I definitely couldn't have done it without him. Thanks dear!

yeah i only shave my legs once a week in the winter..oops
i also hate beer (i've only had like 2 sips of it my entire life), but i have been drunk before...another oops
I'm the same way about kids - I know I want them but not at all right now. It is so weird because I baby-sat all the time before college! I have to say I'm like Mojito Maven - I only shave once a week in the winter too! I never leave myself enough time in the shower to do it daily.
how did you change your blog... did you go to a website to start out... I am pretty good with changing html but I need a website to get the designs!
I love the new blog look! And I have to say I admire the fact that you can shave every day, it's truly impressive ;) And wow, a nose ring, huh? I would have never thought. Thanks for sharing your randomness! And we need a picture of this nose ring :)

wow! we do have a lot in common! yes, i am doing Jessica's sewing class... i've already bought my supplies (i'm such a nerd)!

I'm with ya on the new hairstyles...it's the one thing I change all the time, yet it always seems to look the same! I'm an impulsive hair colorist!
I wash my hair first too...never thought twice about it...is it really out of the norm? :) And I used to change my hairstyle every other month...now I'm just a boring ol' momma! :)

you forgot to add that you have also slept in a bed with your husband and sister...at the same time. (in a village in thailand of course, the only place that would be acceptable)
