Today is the day

Thanks so much for all of your sweet comments about the house. Yesterday after work we met with our realtor and signed the final contract. We also scheduled our inspection for Thursday...I'm praying that nothing serious comes up in the inspection. We set our closing date for May 29th. It worked out prefect because J and I are in a lease until June, and the seller has kids in school through May...so we won't have to pay rent and a house payment for May or June! I'm so happy that worked out.

I started off this morning with a 6 mile run. It was scheduled to be 9, but we got out the door late so we had to cut it short. I hate it when that happens...makes me feel like such a slacker! Anyway, the run still gave me a great start to the day, and then I topped it off by making one of Angela's green monsters. Today I put in a couple handfuls of spinach, 1/2 cup almond milk, half a frozen banana, a few strawberries, 1 whole carrot, and some ice....yum!! It was delicious! One of my favorite's so far. These have become a daily staple for me, and I'm so glad I found the idea on Angela's site.

I have so much on my to do list for today. I HAVE to get my application and resume ready so I can get it in by the end of spring break. I let things like this stress me out so much, and then I just put if off everyday. Well, today is the day! I am going to make myself at least make progress on it. I want to get this all taken care of so that I can spend my time getting rid of all the stuff we don't need, and packing the things we do need. I have a couple of months to get all that done, but I know it'll sneak up really fast!

I hope you all have a great Wednesday!

Yay, congrats on the contract on the house! I hope it works out for you guys and the inspection report comes back with nothing huge on it! Great job on the run too! That monster sounded very yummy, we've never used almond milk before!

That drink sounds great. I've heard of that through a fellow blogger, and I really have been wanting to try it! I bet it's delish!

Have a great day girl!
